Next attempt at scones:
1.5 c flour
2.25 tsp baking POWDER
1.5 Tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
½ stick butter
½ c plus 1 Tbsp milk – add as needed (which kinda means don’t bother with the Tbsp till you need it)
Preheat oven to 425
Put parchment on a baking sheet
Cube the cold butter (“pea size”)
Mix all dry ingredients, crumble in the butter, add milk until the ingredients form a soft dough
Form dough into a ball, press onto parchment, slice into quarters
Bake 14-16 min until golden brown.
